Talk about "get the facts first." The NFL is one of the only leagues where player contracts aren't guaranteed. Hence, a player can be cut before his contract is set to expire... See Mike Mckenzie. Also, next year will most likely be an uncapped season; so the disincentive to cutting a player early, the salary cap penalty, will be gone. Reggie will either restructure or get cut next season, that's reality.
