I hate to say it but cable will soon be a thing of the past. If you look and see what is going on they are having problems just carrying local networks. WWL is having to do last minute negotiations just so Cox will carry them. Cox would be hurt much more than WWL in the deal so it ends up being in Cox best intrest to carry WWL. This is just a microcosom of the situation. Unless you live like in an apartment or somewhere where you cannot put up a dish then what would you need cable for anyway when you think about it? I understand that some peoples landlords or apartment owners will not let them put up direcTv but if they did then cable would be history. There would be no reason to argue with cable companies anymore and everybody would be happpy. Everything about satellite seems much better than cable as far as programing because of Sunday Ticket and NFL network. Those are the big things but then you also don't have to put up with the cable companies bullying you about programming and pricing. I think this competition is great because finally cable has to get off there high horse. Remember when they were the only game in town? I know you do because the cable companies did not let us forget they were the only game in town. It is funny how things come around and go around.
