Brandon Spikes now suspended the entire Vanderbilt game

You think he was of the opinion or belief that what he was doing was right at the time?
And now that there has been a public backlash that he realizes it is actually a bad thing to poke at eyes?
I'm not trying to be mean, just don't see this as a mistake. I'm not trying to get in a definition war. I just think saying he made a mistake is letting him off a little too light.

I think a 22 year old made a mistake. A lack of judgement on his part. He was caught up in the intensity of the game, and let his emotions get the better of him. He seems to be handling it properly, and understands the perception now on him. He has traditionally not been a problem player, and this seems to be an isolated incident. I’m just not ready to crucify him over it.
