Well, OhioSaintsFan said that the night that it came out, there were 300,000 people playing it at once on PS3. Shortly after that, the servers crash, so my half mill is a roundabout number, but probably not far off.
And Mongoose posted something saying that 2.35 mill people played it on 360 the first day.
