This just happens to coincide with our defense looking like last year's. IMO our offense is going to the pass more because Payton knows our defense is banged up and can't make any stops. Case in point, we've forced only 3 3-and-outs in the past 3 games, none yesterday. Our defense isn't getting off the field so we're doing what we do best.

the passing game is designed to score quick....that means our defense doesnt get to rest....our defense is required to make more stops because they are on the field more and our offense cant control the clock
