do your kill counts reset?? i mean for each weapon....i have 500+ kilss with a couple of guns and i'd hate for those to reset

No. The attachments reset (silencer, scopes, etc.), and you have to re-earn them, but your actual kill count and headshot count with the weapons stay. Most of the other challenges reset though.
