Sean Salisbury Says Panthers to Win NFC South

And the exact opposite is more likely to happen. The Saints play a 2-6 Steelers who are turnover-happy who lost to the Raiders and a 4-4 Cincinnati Bengals that is inconsistent and whose best WR has only 2 TDs who lost to the Bucs.

The Panthers, OTOH, face those same Bucs who, while 2-6, have had a good chance to win 2 of their losses, and a playoff-calibur St. Louis with a QB (Bulger) with only 1 INT and Torry Holt who has identical stats to Colston.

If one of these two teams went 0-2, it's more likely to be the 4-4 inconsistent Panthers than the 6-2 Saints.

You're making the mistake of looking at records. Teams are so close to each other in the NFL in terms of talent that you can't see how much better a team is from another team by looking at records. Pittsburgh still has weapons on offense and the only reason they've been losing is because of mistakes by Roethlisberger but those mistakes are being caused by pressure on him and DBs making plays on the ball, two things our defense aren't too good at. On top of that Pittsburgh's defense isn't too bad. Not saying it will happen but this game could easily end up like the Ravens game. Same with the Benagals, with our defensive secondary it wouldn't take much for players like Palmer and Chad Johnson to catch fire.

The way I see it the Panthers and Saints have the same chances of winning or losses any of those games.
