Oh one was just the same as the other to me, in that Virginia election. i just wish they would have had their election over there a little more quietly. Every week it was some new stupid "scandal" or "revelation" which i had to hear instead of news stories which might have genuinely interested me. Coupla rich guys with talking points. Yawn.

i agree that the implications will be heaviest in the judicial-appointee arena. Too bad there is still a lot of work left to do in other arenas, such as education, health care, retirement funds, and not like we could forget campaign-finance reform, which IMO drives everything else that goes on up there. the real capitol building is K Street.
