What is Rod Woodson thinking

Here's what I think I'm seeing/hearing from all these so called "experts" - when the season started and the Saints beat two bad teams in the Browns and Packers the "experts" were somewhat surprised. There was alot of "good for them", "the Saints are a feel good story", bah, blah, blah. The Saints MNF victory against the Falcons was chalked up "as all emotion". The Eagles game was a "letdown game" for the Eagles after their emotional game with the Cowboys. The sportsmedia sees the Saints record as smoke and mirrors.

But suddenly there are cracks in the sportsmedia "Saints as feel good story" facade. The experts started picking against them (how else can you explain picking Tampa to beat the Saints?). Their midseason playoff predictions either have the Saints as a wildcard or missing the playoffs entirely ignoring the fact the Saints currently lead the division. Listening to/reading the sportsmedia I get the distinct impression they are now "tired" of the current blue collar Saints and would rather talk about Mike Vick or TO. The Saints have burned them in past (how many sportsmedia "experts" picked Haslett's Saints to make the playoffs have them start off great, then collapse down the stretch?) so they're more than willing to "write off" the Saints.....
