I wouldn't say he's not even close when he was at the top of his game. He had over 1600 yards rushing a few years ago and somewhere around 2200 total yards (and the final two games of the year he sprained his knee so he got fewer touches).
While Deuce has great balance and strength and good speed, LJ has all of that with more power, better balance and top end speed. The guy makes a rediculous play every game.
I am very greatful we have a RB like Deuce, but if you call it without a bias, Deuce at his best, simply cannot do the things LJ and LT can do.
