Reggie Bush College days revisited..
Reggie displayed amazing vision while he was in college and I guarantee you he didn't lose that. Yes, he did love to hit the sidelines, but he cut it up when he had to. This guy was one of the best players in the history of college football, and it's not only because he played in the PAC-10. He has serious skills.
His proble right now is that he is not patient enough. Holes don't stay open very long in the NFL. He even said himself that that's the main different between the NCAA and the NFL. The holes are not as big, and they don't stay open as long.
Right now, Reggie always looking for big holes to open up immediately, and they're just not there. If he doesn't see them, he automatically goes to the sidelines to try to make something out of nothing. He needs to be more patient and let the blocking develop downfield and take what is given to him. It has nothing to do with vision, he is just trying way too hard to make the big play.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Reggie is playing too fast right now. He needs to slow down. Alot of people claim that he's not cutting up the field when he gets the ball, but actually he is, but he's doing it too quickly. Everytime he gets the ball fro Drew he is going full speed and this doesn't allow the blocking to develop so there is no hole. That's why you see him dancing in the backfield. He needs to slow down.
