yes we need DEs, but we only have 3 DTs on the roster. 2 of them are actually DTs and the others are DT/DE hybrids

and stoppin the run starts in the middle of the line. yes it helps to have DEs that can contain, but thats more scheme than personel. a solid DT that holds the middle of the line forces runs to the outside where teams become one dimensional. if you know a guy cant run up the middle its a lot easier to stop an offense

And the thing about DE's is they'll also take time to develop except for a few that get it right away. Just look at Brandon Graham, he just lost his starting job. Most defensive line prospects take a couple years to develop, they have to get used to the bigger, more physical lineman in the NFL. I just really want to add some youth at DE.

BPA at DE/DT/OLB for the first couple rounds and I'm happy. If there's a better prospect at DT over DE then you gotta go with him, and vice versa if there's a better prospect at DE. If a Ingram or Ryan Williams fell to us in round 1 I'd be ok with them also. Another RB to keep an eye on is Mikel Leshoure from Illinois, he's the most likely to be there.

I'm just hoping we can add Barry Cofield and Derrick Johnson/Thomas Howard in FA. Fill our needs with mid-tier FA's which would free us up in the draft.
