No doubt that contract worked in his favor, but I can't give him personally too much credit for that -- intelligence wise. Had he shrewdly represented himself, then yes I could see he may be a pretty smart guy. But that large contract was a result of a desperate Redskins team and an agent that took advantage of that. If he was really worth that much and smart, he would have tested the free agent market for more than five minutes to see if he could get a bidding war going.
