You might be a Jets supporter, and that's all fine. I might respect their fans, but I root against their team because it's fun to see cocky people fall flat on their face like that. Anyway, what about the possible positive impact on playoff seeding rules if the Jets finish 13-3 or 12-4 and are on the road throughout playoffs?

There is none. No more than it happening to the Saints (or Pats for that matter).

You're equating "media darlings" (of course they are, big market) with "the league cares about them more". I think the competition committee, or whoever decides these things, has to look at it this offseason, but I don't think any changes get made.

The discussion will revolve around two wildcards in each conference having better records than a division leader. I don't think it'll matter WHICH teams are involved. IMO.

Disclaimer: Personally, I think division winners should be in, but seeding should be done by record.
