I was toking it up with a very successful chemical engineer, a guy who own several successful businesses, and a junior partner at a prestigious local lawfirm after a round of golf late last summer talking about how ignorant some people are about how predominant pot use is in the country, and how shocked these ignorant people would be if they knew how many successful people smoke pot.

The first time I've tried the synthetic weed (when it came out and didn't know anything about it) was with a good friend of mine, who also happens to be a Kidney Doctor. He lives in Lafayette and is a regular smoker, but brought the legal stuff with him to NOLA since its stupid for someone in his position to drive around with weed on him and risk getting caught. You are completely right about successful people smoking pot, and we've talked about it. He said that I'd be surprised at how many of his doctor friends smoke on a regular basis. There is nothing wrong someone like that going home after a grueling 12-hour shift and smoking a bowl to unwind. Now granted, he won't touch the fake junk anymore since all of the negative facts about it came out.
