New Orleans City Council members asking state to spare McDonogh No. 11 school in hospital footprint

I'm typically in the camp of doing whatever it takes to get development going around here.

All I'm saying in this case is that it's a really cool building. I hate to see something like that get torn down, whatever the reason.

I haven't really analyzed the ins and outs of this whole thing. But they don't build things like that anymore.
