Red Dead Redemption

Id have to go along with Jetsfans points raised above. Some stuff just seemed unnecessary. The clothes changing option is one of them, i never even bothered with it & some of the Side missions were deplorable. Once i had to stop a guy from cheating on his wife by basically going up to him & pressing B a few times. He then said thanks & left the lady of the night on her own outside the pub!! ***??? Another time i had to save a Nun & when i got to her she ended up taking me for 10 dollars. This would have been better with a straight walkthrough plot & no diversions. Dont get me wrong its a great game but some stuff irked me.

It's not perfect, but it's as close to perfect as I've seen and this is coming from someone who was never really a fan of the GTA games mostly because I thought the open world stuff made it hard to follow the main plot line. I thought they did a good job of keeping this one on track without letting the open world aspect get in the way. And, I think without the open world aspect you would loose the western feel of the game. Plus, if you've ever played the last Call of Juarez, you would see how crappy a liner western game can be.
