If this does not include tenders does that mean it does not include application of the franchise tag? Because if that is the case then the Colts cap number does not even include Manning and they are in real trouble.
Now this, too, is my wonder. I would imagine it should not include previous tenders made sense those will be rendered obsolete by the new CBA. And if you look at the money the Saints have charged against the cap ($108.3 million), and consider the deals we made right after the season was over, it is not likely that tenders are included though I can be wrong. It DEPENDS on the accuracy of that $99 million amount we heard right after the season and whether or not that number included those tenders. After the season was over, we made a few deals re-signing Hartley and Thomas, and signing Rogers. Prior to those deals, we were right around $99 million or so. I saw some reports that it was slightly lower, around $98.7. Rogers' deal is a direct charge against the cap since it is a 1-year deal. I know last week, we were said to be at $105+ million. I wonder then if rookie pool is being factored into that amount to get us to the $108.3 million amount. Probably not since the CBA is altering rookie salaries.
