And meanwhile, fen, I know you can make this with ingredients available in the UK, if you follow the basic recipe {sans my notes}. I used to work for Chef Hans, and Chef Hans used to work at Brennan's, and he made this soup there. So it's real New Orleans cuisine, twice removed. :hihi:
