This is off-subject, but what if Terra Nova's next episode ended with a scientist busting into a lab somewhere saying he got all the measurements wrong, and the wormhole only went 6,000 years...then the last episode of the season, the splinter group is shown building a big wooden boat while the rain starts falling. Fade to black, to be continued
