the VG board football thread

Holy Zombie Jebus, but do we have some whiny fans. We lose one freaking close game to a division rival on the road at the end of 3 game road trip where our head coach and play caller gets his leg broken in the first quarter, along with some bad calls from the officials, and the *****es start questioning Drew Brees, the offensive scheme, how we use our running backs, Malcom Jenkins, run pass ratio, the defensive scheme, trading Ingram to Detroit, etc. I'm guessing that Thomas Morstead and the long snapper are up next for criticism.

Emotional vomiting by the 200 posts and under club. Half are trolls, the other half are just new to the message board game and believe that venting will somehow help them deal with the fact that we lost.

It won't.

I'm really disappointed by this loss personally. It's just because I knew what was at stake in the game. Jonesy is right, the packers are now a cloud of dust. Besides the fact that our division is now a total mess as far as who will win, now we have to deal with the very real fact that the Superbowl goes through Lambeau.

And the only thing that can stop them are a bunch of indoor teams that are used to playing in comfortable environments and or warm weather.

Green Bay fans must really believe they are on easy street right now. I wonder if they have any worries at all? The worst thing is they have proven they can overcome injuries so so much for that stopping them.

As long as we have Brees though, we have a chance(perhaps not great but it's a chance nonetheless). No other NFC team has a chance of beating them in Green Bay.

I can't tell ya how happy it would make me to somehow get to Lambeau for the NFC championship game and beat the snot out of them.
