Steve Young's first comments: New Orleans defense is too bad to threaten the Packers.

In that case I like our running game much more then theirs.

I've been hard on the defense this year. Very hard. But what I saw last night wasn't bad defense. It was horrible officiating mixed with us giving up underneath routes in the 4th because we were up so much.

We stuffed the run as well, which would be the key against GB in a bad weather game.

Yeah, that's the thing about this defense. We don't need them to play as great as most defenses. I'm not sure Steve Young understands that.

You give us the turnovers of the Packers and give them our situation(in the turnover department) we are easily undefeated and most likely they have 3 losses. The thing is though, creating turnovers is a skill. Just ask the 2009 Vikings and AP about that when they played in our dome.

Now the cat is out of the bag about the Saints and GW, so we just haven't been generating the same amount of turnovers since then. This defense doesn't have a Darren Sharper anymore(where he was magical that one season), then again, who does? We do need some players to step up their game to have a chance in the playoffs. This going 3-4 games without a turnover nonsense is ridiculous.

The main problem is our offensive line and pass rush(it needs crowd noise to be effective) have been excruciatingly crappy during away games. I can't image what a playoff atmosphere on the road, with all that noise, would do to our blocking scheme. Ugh.

And the problem with stuffing Green Bay's run is they are a lot like us. They are the only team besides the Saints that can just abandon the run for an entire game and possibly still light up the scoreboard.

I'll still cheer us on and go nuts WHEN we play at Lambeau. That's a tall order for any team in the NFL to win a game like that though.
