NS.. ex-NFL players sue league... It's starting to make sense now

So now we're analogizing your Metry C-League basketball career and swollen ankles to ALS, Chronic Encephalopathy and TBI leading to suicide? Something tells me you don't quite grasp the scope of this.

Sorry 'bout your ALS, Steve, but I got these swollen ankles to tend to!

Omg!! Babble!!! You're telling me that running my head into a 300 pound man at full speed is smart and that there was no concern of long term injury...

Look.. I understand this is a big mess and I do see both sides but in the end, when do you walk away after willingly destroying your body?

I use to play basketball 3 times a week but when I got to the point that my ankles were swollen the next day, I stopped playing!!!!! I started playing golf...

At what point do these players have concussion after concussion and not decide to walk away. Take Barry Sandrs for instance, Jim Brown.. Guys how said enough is enough and I want to leave with my health...

The reason most of these guys stay is money... So they destroy their body for big money then sue for more when their hips are bad or traumatic brain injury...

At some point, the NFL should have a "play at your own risk" in the contracts.. Spell out the health care program and it is what it is.... If you don't want Judd butt, don't drink the water in Mexico and if you don't want long term traumatic brain injuries, DON'T PLAY FOOTBALL... Or at the very least, quit after 4 years and get a regular job
