NS.. ex-NFL players sue league... It's starting to make sense now

Two words..Colt McCoy. The NFL still has a long way to go.

Point well taken, but I'm talking about what the league is trying to do to eliminate it. In the early days, the league wanted stars on the field at all cost to the players. A random team will always make a mistake from time to time. No way they deliberately do it today with the league police looking over their shoulder. The colt thing was just a dumb mistake made by a dumb team which every team will pay for. Eventually a neutral doctor will pull any player that takes a hard hit. Imagine a neutral doc pulling drew in the first quarter of a playoff game just because he took a hard sack. Or puling him out for a 25 minute test That's where we are headed. The pendulum will swing way too far because of colt's case.
