Was Dan Marino's TD record this sacred ???

I have heard a lot of people saying great things about him breaking the record. I wish they would say one thing more though. Yes it may be "easier" to do it now, which I don't buy in to but hasn't Drew sat for about 3 1/2 - 4 quarters this year? That means he broke Marinos record in the equivalent of 14 games. Now that is impressive.
