Young mother guns down home invader

Wow. My niece lives in Blanchard. Completely justified, IMO, but I give her kudos for thinking clearly enough to be on the phone with a dispatcher up to the shooting.

A friend of mine once shot an intruder inside her home, but he managed to stumble outside the home before falling to the ground. He died in her front yard. Even though the evidence strongly suggested that he was several feet within the home when shot, she was still convicted of manslaughter because he wasn't in the house when police arrived. :(
