you realize that she's based in New Orleans, right? She's primarily a sports reporter for WVUE, Channel 8, in NOLA-- but has recently started doing sideline reporting for other nationally televised games.. Anyway, i'm not coming down on her as hard as some others here are (hehe)-- but i think that as someone who works in New Orleans sports (and was i believe raised in NOLA and is a Saints fan) it is a little odd that she didn't recognize Fujita.

I don't know Jennifer Hale, nor am I familiar with her work. I am aware, however, that many of the Saints faithful are somewhat upset with Fujita since his departure (and apparent "selling out" of our defensive strategies). Perhaps she just didn't want his opinion, or she knew that many in the Whodat nation simply wouldn't be interested in what Fujita had to say.
