Need help from my N'awlins WhoDats - Making a trip down tomorrow

I wish I had researched sooner, I'll definitely be going with the Harrah's parking next time. We ended up in a lot a block off Decatur for $20 overnight (still $15 cheaper than what French Market Inn wanted). The hotel was a great location and decent price ($80) for two people. A couple of uncontrollably drunk friends of mine showed up and upped it by another $45 (20 per person per night), but I'd still say it was worth it to have a spot so close to everything downtown. For those wondering, the Rise Against concert was amazing, and everything went as well as could be expected. We hit Decatur first (molly's at the market and that Russian place next door), very decent drink prices. Went back to the hotel and hit the ice chest for a bit. Went to the show...walked in exactly when Rise Against went on stage. They seemed to play my own personal playlist...Left there and hit the Dungeon...Very cool place, I'm not sure if I'm upset or relieved that the upstairs was under construction... All in all, spent very little by having an ice chest in the room and not going overboard at the bars. Dungeon's drink prices leave some to be desired, but not horrible. I gotta say it was funny to have a friend get kicked out a place called "The Dungeon" for a dress code violation (it was hole in the knee of his pants...and we had already been in there for an hour...strange). Had an awesome time, and I plan to return for training camp...hopefully get to hit Harrah's this time around!
