Texas Stadium: Red parking vs Blue parking?

Lucky enough to be going to the Saints game against Cowgirls on Dec 10th. Tix I got come with Red parking pass. How far away is that lot? I don't mind a good walk, but kids will probably whine. Is it worth it go up grade and get a blue pass? Anyone know enough about that area to comment? Thanks for any help.
