Even though the case would be in federal court, which is MUCH faster than a state court, looking at a year absolute minimum. Discovery alone (interrogatories, request for production of 18,000 documents, depositions, etc) would likely take well over a year. If the NFLPA can get it into a courtroom, ala StarCaps, I'll be floored if Vilma, Hargrove, Fujita, & Smith don't play the entire 2012-13 and possibly 2013-14 season before any kind of verdict would be reached.
