Brees Contract Updates ???

I guess this complaint is old hat but I still don't get it. What is the difference between getting $23 million and $20 million? So you have 3 houses in Maui instead of 4. You have 4 yachts instead of 5. The biggest moneymaker-athletes of all time, people like Jack Nicholas, Arnold Palmer, Michael Jordan, or David Beckham made most of their money off the field. They need to make a deal and get the hell on with it. Even Michael Phelps made $40 million in his career, and the Olympics paid him zero dollars and zero cents.
