Vegas odds: Saints favored in 12 of their first 15 games

Yes, dont discount what you "think" will happen because youre further from reality. The giants will have payback in their house for how we stomped them I think. Look at how we embarrassed the cowgirls 41-7 in our house then the following yr, they stomped a mudhole in us. Same principle. Im looking at us 9-7 or so. We "might" get 10-6, but thats a little reach. Dont expect anything better than a 10-6 record IMO. Those spreads are insane right now. 1pt favorites, 2.5pts at Atlanta but 5.5 at home? vs raiders 3pts? As bad as they are my money allday long on the Raiders. Denver IF Manning plays we lose.Remember, we beat him in the SB. Considering hes the posterboy for NFL, we not beating him again. Its also away. Denver will be a good team.

Don't discount historical trends just because you think you know better than what someone else thinks they know.

I'm not saying Peyton is bad... I'm saying its not likely he'll be at full strength and I highly doubt his team will be rolling on all cylinders after half a season. Their defense is good, but its not amazing... and we all know the spread is what it is not because of faith in the Broncos against the Saints Offense, its because of the lack of faith in the Saints defense against Peyton manning. Putting all your eggs into an older FA quarterback is historically a bad idea, and its obvious that the Broncos are completely revamping the offensive side of the ball to help fit Peyton's scheme. You really think they'll have it all together in less than one year? The Saints are a veteran team. The broncos bringing in one banged up veteran does not make them an experienced team, overall.... I'd take the Saints in every single game this coming year except against the Packers and possibly the Giants (for the revenge factor you mentioned) but there is no way in hell they lose to the Broncos.
