Best Live Albums Ever
Led Zeppelin - Song Remains the Same
Still one of my absolute favorites with my favorite versions of all the songs. Since I've Been Loving You on that is so much better than the studio version. Actually, it's my favorite Zep tune (well, that or No Quarter).
Oingo Boingo - Farewell
Their last show ever and the interpretations of the songs and how they modernized them out of the 80s horrible production quality into more of a more natural sound and more natural dynamic range. Just always one of my favorites and has my favorite versions of the songs from start to finish.
Les Claypool's Frog Brigade - Live Frogs Sets 1 & 2
Great performances and the second set is straight up Pink Floyd's Animals as performed by one of the few people who could do Pink Floyd true justice. It's also amazing at how accurately they're able to reproduce it live (as well as Shine On in Set 1).
The Who - Live at Leeds
Does this really need an explanation? The Who at their best and doing Tommy live to boot!
