how many hours is ATL from new orleans?

I once did it in 5 hrs. 45 mins. (from the SW junction of I-85/I-285 to Metairie).

Another time I did it from the NE junction of I-85/I-285 (spaghetti junction) to uptown in 6 hours. Left at noon in Atlanta and made it to my friend's house before he left to go to the Hermes parade that night. I thinkt that one was actually my better time.....

Of course, that was back when I drove sports cars, before I had kids .....
