Abita Springs water delivery - or lack thereof...

I really, really don't like the chlorine taste of NOLA's tap water. I know it's supposed to be safe, but I just can't get over the thought of my drinking water running through all those old pipes, etc. Heck, just the decrepit plumbing in this old shotgun house is scary to me, let alone something the city government is responsible for.

Yes, and when you have a BRITA pitcher, i find it filters out that flavor. (heh you DO have to change out the filter every so often ;) )

i submit that DC's water is arguably just as funky as i remember New Orleans' was.

Like i'd said in the post i had been editing when this thread got the last four replies or so, i believe we used Abita in our offices and i don't remember having an issue.

Support local business (Reily Foods/Luzianne runs Abita) instead of Kentwood (owned by an Atlanta company).
