I think you're just being argumentative for the sake of it. While it's difficult to find any bright spots in the worst defense in NFL History, it's also very easy to make the incorrect assumption that everything is terrible, and equally so.

You may have a point in that Bunkley is well-paid for playing what is essentially a small role. However, when you examine the defense, I don't think Bunkley is the problem. I haven't watched every game and evaluated Bunkley with my own eyes so would refrain from comment on how good he was. But others, who get paid for it, have and seem to think Bunkley was at least decent. You may not wish to take that at face value, which is fair enough. If you want to make a stronger argument though, go watch all the film yourself and evaluate Bunkley properly. What you find may or may not support your premise.

(And to be honest, I'd love to get an opinion on Bunkley from someone who knows our team and who's spent a good bit of time watching film and evaluating)
