That photo was taken down in the plaza. I've been there several times and have passed this man on the side of the road once or twice. Seemed like a nice guy. Never bothered anybody.
There's doing the right thing - and then there's the reality of our situations. Would all that many of us really blamed this homeless man if he took the $4,000, viewing it as a chance opportunity, perhaps even from God?
But in reality, the "right thing" has no context. And this man knew what the right thing to do was. It warms your heart. Perhaps the woman will try to help him out a little more - that would also be the right thing.
