I saw Morrissey when I was an undergrad some years ago. He came out in an Elvis-style black leather jumpsuit singing (I think) "The Boy with the Thorn in His Side" and when he had finished he buried his face in a bouquet of black roses a fan had given him. He started to weep before going on to the next song.
That's when I started reevaluating my taste in music.
