The Good, The Bad, The Ugly - My thoughts

Here are several of my thoughts after this game.

1. Before the saints if you looked at our schedule most people figured after todays game we would at best be 3-7 factoring in wins at cleveland and green bay, but most figured we would lost to atlanta, tampa, Philly, Baltimore, pitt and cinci. Instead we get throught his stretch at 6-4 with the easier part of the schedule to go. After Atlanta we have San Fran, Dallas, Washington....esier then the first part of our schedule.

2. Today was Drew Brees' best and worst game as a saint. The reason I say best is because statistically it was an awesome game. For the first time he really was trying to force the touchdowns in the endzone. Maybe he figued the game was going to get out of hand and he needed to score. He should have thrown the ball away. Drew will be fine and will rebound next week.

3. Reggie is getting better at running the ball. if you watch him over the last few weeks he is starting to take what the defense gives them instead of trying to hit the home run every time. This is the perfect time for this to come around.

4. Hopefully Colston's injury isn't too severe, because he is a huge part of the offense. Devery played well, but I would like to see more consistency with his catching.

5. We need to go out and get an actually TE. If Tony G is available next off season we need to push hard for him. We a TE that can actually be a threat this offense could do so much more.

6. We need help in the secondary. Thomas wasn't just burnt toast today...he was charcoal toast. I know he should have had help on one of he plays, but Thomas played bad.

7. We also need to ask the league to stop announcers from coming with with those stats we don't care about...like, Brees hasn't thrown an interception in over 100 passes...not 4-5 plays later he throws an interceptions...it always happens that way....stop it for the love of all things pure.

8. Terrence Copper is starting to really annoy me. He scores a touchdown, but then gives up a fumble. I know they didn't score on it, but we may have scored on that drive. Why not give Lewis some time at receiver.

9. Remaining opponents for the top players for the division championship. The good news is that the Falcons and Panthers beat each other up before we play carolina. St. Louis could have helped us out today, but Haslett must of given the pregame speech for the Rams because they layed a goose egg against Carolina.

Saints - Atlanta, San Francisco, Dallas, Washington, Ny Giants, Carolina.

Panthers - Washington, Philly, Giants, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, New Orleans

Falcons - Saints, Washington, Tampa, Dallas, Carolina, Philly
