I'm all for people breaking barriers, but come on...that is just embarrassing. I actually resent it a little that she did so poorly. Way to make women look feeble and foolish, lady. Thanks a bunch. I'm sure the next woman who actually takes sports seriously and might have legitimately wanted to participate will thank you even more now that people will automatically assume she's a publicity-seeking jerk, too.
I'm a little surprised at how strongly annoyed I am at this woman. I guess I expected her to be competent, at least. If she was truly too injured to try, then sit down. Don't go out and do...that. Ugh.
