I hate the speed cameras. There is something we the people can do. We can push for a constitutional amendment (state level) banning the use of the traffic enforcement cameras. You have to push your local representatives and get loud and angry about this issue. We the people need to be united and let our state representatives know we will not accept these unfair tax schemes.
I was in Phoenix one time driving on the freeway and they had one of these setup in the left lane of a 5 lane interstate. It flashed like a strobe light. If you are in the left lane you get a ticket for driving the flow of traffic but you can also get a ticket for doing basically the speed limit (63 in 65)
