A lot of those locals will likely change their tune when the Pelicans start winning. We get a lot of Laker and Miami fans here at Thunder games every time they come to town. Not the majority by a long shot because we have a great fan base but certainly quite a few. But I don't live in NO anymore so I could be wrong.

Even though I'm a huge Thunder fan I always want the Pelicans to do well. If not for them we might not have a franchise here.
