Just because he has been cleared by a Dr. does not mean he can't suffer an injury to the back or neck. Matter of fact, I would venture to say that his case increases the chance of injury because of the type and long term ramification. Why take the risk?

The Front office has kept Harper up til this point, but that does not mean that we are not looking to upgrade, depth, and even young talent through the draft and what about next year? Besides keeping Harper this year does not mean that he will play every down of every game. I think bringing in a solid SS with coverage ability to compete this year with with IAQ and for a starting role next year is a viable option.
