My chips are all in

Meachem couldn't do half of the things that Austin does. Besides, had Meachem not showed up to camp out of shape, got the playbook down in a timely fashion, not been so flat footed, caught with body instead of his hands, blocked a little better, and been a better route runner-then maybe he could have been more than a package player. Meachem failed to distance himself from the other WRs (excluding Colston) to be the clear cut #2 WR. It's his own fault.

I'm comparing Austin to Meachem not by talent but by how much he can be utilized. Austin because of his size already limits him to how much and how often he will be able to be utilized. In college he could use his speed..but there are guys that are bigger and faster just AS fast or Faster than him.

Im not saying he isn't a special talent. Im saying he isn't worth the 15th pick in this offense.

He wouldn't hold up in blocking. He wouldn't hold up over the middle. HEs not an every down guy in this system. Thats what im looking for@15 a LT or something. Not a WR who may or may not make it through a full 16 games any year.

Just can't see it Bro. Like i said check out Josh Boyce and tell me what u think...hes an alternative to Austin and would bring the some qualities. Game breaking speed, agility but @ 206lbs. Not 175 or whatever Austin is.

Again im not saying Austin cant be special but he can do it for someone else. Under no circumstances should we go offense unless its a Tackle or a WR that can at least play on the outside.
