Bounce Back

After our very tough loss to the Steelers I was so sure that we'd win the Bengals game. I was positive we would come out and play a great game, much like we did against Tampa in Tampa. But instead we have by far our worst game of the season (and only one I will get to attend). This makes me think that maybe this team has not turned the corner that everyone thought they have. When you think about it, we have been inconsistant all season, much like Haz coached teams. But unlike years past this team never packed it in in the middle of the game and, of course, we were winning. But now we have dropped 3 out of 4 since the bye week and no one really knows what to expect next week or any week for that matter. Good teams are more consistant. Not to say we aren't on our way but we aren't quite there yet. We have all known that the defense is a huge weakness and suseptable to giving up the big play, but it is the offense that is inconsistant and, to be frank, is costing us these games. Looking at our schedule with San Fran and Dallas also playing well, we are going to need our A game starting this week. Otherwise, that game against Carolina might be meaningless. After the past 2 weeks, I expect a near flawless performance against Atlanta. Both teams are reeling and it will just come down to desire.
