My case against Jarvis Jones

Ok, I'll do you one better. How about the last 8 years of NCAA sack leaders, outside of Jones:

2010: DeQuan Bowers led the nation with 15.5
2009: Texas A&M's Von Miller led the nation, but he also tore it up with his measureables and ran a 4.49
2008: TCU's Jerry Hughes led the way with 15 this season, and we all know how great he's turned out
2007: The NFL beast known as Greg Middleton led the nation this season with a whopping 16 sacks
2006: Western Michigan's Ameer Ismal led the way this year with 17
2005: Oh wow, an actual NFL star led the nation this year, Elvis Dumervil with 17
2004: Jonathan Goddard from Marshall led the nation this season with 16

So, you are saying never pick a guy who has good college stats if they played in the SEC? Is that your point? Because it's crazy. Certainly stats don't tell the whole story in the draft, but you can't use the idea that a guy had great stats in the SEC as a negative. The SEC produces plenty of impact players. In the end, you have to evaluate the individual player.
