Chase Thomas UDFA [MERGED]

Obviously somebody is looking at them (and somebody in NFL front offices at that) because outside of his play what else would prevent him from being drafted.

To the guy that asked if I was interested in Jarvis Jones (yet he and Chase ran the same 40). Yes I did want Jones, and I am not even an SEC fan. But the difference in competition the two faced was night and day.

I also think Jones wasn't the center of attention for SEC teams, whereas Chase was the best player on the Stanford team. I didn't want Jones at the 15th spot because of the athleticism questions, among others, but I would've been tickled to get him at the end of the 1st round, since he was so productive. However getting a player with great production as an UDFA is fantastic. If Jones' measurables don't prevent him from succeeding, as many believe, including Pittsburg, then I think Chase's measureables won't prevent him from succeeding either. The competition he faced is a legitimate question, but I think since teams may have game-planned for Chase, that may have made his production equally difficult to a player such as Jones.
