well, out of 550 million you'd get about 250 mil I would guess after taxes and lump-sum penalties.
I would take my 250 million and buy several multi-million dollar Apartment complexes under an LLC with 20% down on each to better leverage my money and under an LLC to avoid the income to debt ratio. Maybe go for 10 50 million dollar enormous apartment complexes at 90%-100% occupancy with only putting 20% down on each and financing the other 80% on each. for a total of 100 million invested in down payments. Preferably would acquire all of the complexes at 10% cap rate so all 10 would pull 50 million in net income per year, about 25 million per year after the mortgages were paid. I could live off 25 million a year for the rest of my life and have all my tenants pay off the buildings :mwink:
