He isn't fluid when changing direction and he doesn't have the ability to cut on a dime. His "stutter stepping" behind the LOS isn't really a stutter step, it's him slowing down his momentum to change direction. It's build into his style and you're just going to have to live with it. I have no problem with it because it helps him attack his secondary options(hole) relatively quickly.
Ingram has always been relatively patient when he's behind the LOS even back in his days in college. He had to deal with an adjustment period coming from such a dominant run blocking line but he looks better than he ever did since he's been here. I liked what I saw and if he can continue doing what he did in preseason, I expect a nice year from him.
