(YouTube) Mark Ingram's preseason

I think we all let emotions get the best of us at times.

It's a fun debate. It's part of what being a fan is all about.

Keep it light. Try not to take it personally.

WhoDat!

Great advice. Someone can't even compliment a RB or offer constructive criticism without being accused of "hating" one of our other RB's. Last time I checked, all our RB's are Saints, and I hope all of us are pulling for all of them. We should never let a bad game or good game affect how we "feel" about a player, because stuff happens. You have to look at the big picture, and the best way to do that is with career stats.

I don't know why you thought I took anything personally, we're not even talking about me :9:

But don't try to patronize me like I need to cool it over some little joke. Every Ingram thread since 2011 has been littered with BUST, 2 yard Mark, and lacking in every skill needed to be an NFL back.

You may have not been around for all those threads, but you know what I'm talking about. And no one has ever flamed someone for just liking a RB over another. Khiry has gotten 100% praise on SR since he's been with the team. However it seems that the large number of Chris Ivory supporters were and (not-suprisingly) still are against Ingram. Going as far as faking stats, to calling for him to be cut, traded, benched, or all of the above. You know this is true.

So who's really getting personal here? You say that compliments and constructive criticism get met with hate, but all I've done is post compliments to Mark's game since he's gotten his #'s way up and essentially looked the way we've all been wishing for him too. But you know the guys that have made one RB in particular catch all the ****.

But yet the guy who is telling you that the SAINT who is NOT a bust, WON'T be traded, and played WELL in preseason, while still loving our depth at RB gets to receive the "great advice" of chilling out and letting the unsubstantial remarks continue that you even say should be replaced with posts of support for a Saint who will be featured on the big stage in less than a week.
